If you’re reading this, you likely fit into one of two categories. Category number one includes business savvy entrepreneurs and/or operators who own a trampoline or adventure park. The second category contains individuals who are interested in opening a park or are in the process of opening a family entertainment center.

If you fall into the second category, you’ll need an amazing company to help guide you through your adventure park journey. Generation Z

Regardless of which category you fall into, you’re well aware that your target market includes young kids and teenagers. Many people call this generation “Gen Z”.

While we may not fully understand what’s going on inside the heads of this generation. We do know that they love their cell phones, social media, and adrenaline packed adventure parks.

Up to this point we’ve identified a few things. Number one is that you have an interest in adventure parks. We’ve also agreed that the primary target market for trampoline and adventure parks includes kids and young adults. Now let’s talk about the latest trend in social media, TikTok.

TikTok is one of the fastest growing social media platforms in the world. As of April 2020, the app had been downloaded more than TWO BILLION times. Not enough to convince you that you need TikTok? How about the fact that TikTok is popular among Gen Z? You know people 16-24 years old, aka your target market. And when we say popular, what we actually mean is that Gen Z’ers love TikTok! They love TikTok almost as much as they love their cell phones. Maybe even more than their phones. It’s a toss-up from what we understand.

It’s not surprising that TikTok is popular among the younger generation. When TikTok launched the creators set out to capture a younger crowd. Based on the latest information, it’s safe to say that they succeeded. Over 41 percent of TikTok users are between 16 and 24 years old. Yeah. You read that right! Over 41% of 800 million active monthly TikTok users fall into your target market!

TikTok - You Need It!

If you haven’t come to this conclusion yet, we’ll help you out. Your family entertainment center needs to be active on TikTok! If you’re an adventure park owner and you’re not using TikTok to connect with your primary target market, you should be! Stop what you’re doing and implement TikTok into your marketing strategy. Now!

We’re sensing that you may be a little hesitant. We get it. You’re a small business and the year 2020 was, to say the least, “tough” on us all. It was especially hard on adventure parks, ninja academies, trampoline parks, indoor play centers, and essentially the entire family entertainment industry. Adding a new social media platform to your already overfull plate is not at the top of your to-do list. Here’s what we have to say to that…BUCK UP BUTTERCUP!

That was a little harsh, but we had to get your attention. This isn’t a strategy you want to put off until next month or when you can afford to hire a marketing coordinator. It’s a strategy that you need to implement now! Here’s why:

  • 90% of all TikTok users access the app daily
  • TikTok had more than 1 billion video views every day in the last year

Let The Fun Begin!

We’ve shared a plethora of reasons on why you should be promoting your adventure park on TikTok. And after a little arm twisting, we’re confident that you’re on board. Now the fun begins! TikTok is all about fun and creative videos. You don’t need to create polished videos or hire a professional videographer to promote your trampoline or adventure park on TikTok. Just pull out your cell phone and start filming!

Still feeling stuck. We’re betting that you have an entertainment center full of TikTok experts. You know employees, guests, and your own kiddos! Ask them for help getting started. Once you’ve got a few solid videos on your profile, make sure to encourage your Instagram and Facebook followers to follow you on TikTok!
